We are working with a leading player in the transportation and distribution world who are looking for a Senior Customer Service Manager to join their dynamic team in Huddersfield. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a proven track record in management, a strong hands on approach and a strong planning process.
Role: Senior Customer Service Manager
Salary: up to £55,000 + benefits
Location: Huddersfield
About the Role of Senior Customer Service Manager:
As the Senior Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of products, maintaining service standards, and managing operational teams. You'll be key in driving operational performance, building relationships with clients, and delivering solutions that meet both current and future needs.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Customer Service Manager:
Oversee and coordinate logistics operations across 3 teamsEnsure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and quality standardsManage operational teams to deliver outstanding service to clientsDrive efficiency improvements across the teamsCollaborate with clients, suppliers, and partners to meet service expectationsSupport and mentor your leadership team
Key Requirements for the Senior Customer Service Manager:
Proven background in Office Management overseeing a few different teamsExperience in Customer Service Management in a big logistics business (ideally)Strong operational planning process skillsExposure to a fast-paced KPI driven environment managing a good size headcountStrong Communication style with a good man managing approachAbility to communicate with senior internal and external stakeholders
