Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Curing Engineer (m/f/diverse) to join our team in Hannover, Germany. As a Curing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing curing processes, ensuring product quality, and driving innovation in our manufacturing operations.
Develop and report curing portfolio management including demand and use forecast Develop, implement, and optimize curing processes for various polymer-based productsAnalyze and troubleshoot curing-related issues to improve product quality and production efficiencyDesign and conduct experiments to evaluate new curing technologies and materialsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product performance and manufacturing processesDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for curing processesAnalyze data and prepare technical reports on curing process performance and improvementsStay up-to-date with the latest advancements in curing technologies and industry best practicesProvide technical support and training to production teams on curing processes and equipmentQualificationsBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field; Master's degree preferredSeveral years of experience in curing engineering or related fieldExtensive knowledge of curing processes, polymer chemistry, and material scienceProven experience with various curing methods (e.g., thermal, UV, electron beam)Strong proficiency in process optimization and quality control techniquesExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAdvanced data analysis and interpretation abilitiesProficiency in relevant software, including CAD and statistical analysis toolsExperience in the rubber and polymer industry; automotive or aerospace manufacturing experience is a plusFluency in English (written and spoken)Strong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentWillingness to travel occasionally for project-related purposesApplications from severely handicapped people are welcome.
