Credit Manager for DACH region (GE, AT, CH) - Hiring Profile

Preferred location Rubi or Brno

Position Overview

Within PPG we have the opportunity for Credit Manager DACH region cross SBUs based in Rubi (Spain) or Brno (Czechia).

The position will be working as part of the Credit and Collection DepartmentWithin the Credit organization position will report to the Credit Manager Spain and Lead of Credit hub in Rubi, or Senior Credit manager for Czech, Slovakia, Hungary.In addition to become the main contact point of the shareholder’s Credit Department in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, work closely with Custopmer Service and Sales leadership to guarantee timely, consistent and transparent credit decisions.Improvement of business performance through strong functional support and input to decision making.Ensure the DACH Credit control team’s way of working is compliant with the EMEA Credit Policy and Level of Authority documents.Ensure timely application of payments, reconciliation of accounts and communication with customer, customer service and sales on any discrepancies, disputes and requirementsResponsible for a clear communication of the relevant targets and KPI’s with the DACH credit control team and facilitate that these targets can be met. Align the targets also with business leadership of SBUs in DACH region.

Performance Achievements

Empower the EMEA Credit Policy in the relevant SBU’s and handle all escalations accordingly.Ensure business processes operate effectively to an appropriate level of fiscal compliance.Ensure all DACH credit team performance is followed and team is organized by priorities.Ensure accurate and timely collection of current and overdue receivables.Monitor and review credit limits in compliance with the EMEA Credit Policy and make sure these credit limits are communicated with the relevant SBU’sMonitor and advice on the local portfolio’s including the A/R report and communicate pro-active recommendations with ultimate purpose to minimize losses.Deliver continuous improvement by advising on credit risk related processes & services to the organization.Responsible for timely and accurate aging reports and calculation of bad debt reserve.Support the team in the issues resolving, ensuring the skills developments and knowledge on the key accounts processes and tools (customer portals, ERPs knowledge)

You’ll need to have:

Determination to respond to tight deadlines.Strong financial analysis capability as well as good problem solving skills.Naturally driven to work with confidence in a complex business environment.Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail (including the necessary paperwork) and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Hands-on mentality with the ability to work independently.Strong presence and credibility is desired.Native speaker - German.Good communicator in English.Inquisitive, pro-active and precise.Service oriented professional who is able to build relationships across cultural boundaries.
