Join the Global Design Team within International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB) at HSBC, where we create best-in-class experiences that make a difference in customers' lives. We align business strategy with user needs across channels and touchpoints to shape the future experience for affluent customers across the globe. As a Senior Creative Technologist, you will help bridge the gap between design and engineering, to develop tooling and plugins, contribute to our GenUI (Figma-to-code) workflow, and evolve the technical underpinnings of our design system.

In this role you will

Support the adoption, evolution, and technical implementation of our design system in Figma and beyond Develop and maintain custom Figma plugins and tools to support design workflows and DevOps, including GenUI – our platform for Figma-to-code generation and automationContribute to documentation, best practices and training materials for global design and development team Identify opportunities for automation, innovation, and performance improvements within the design system ecosystem, explore and pilot AI-driven design tools and efficiency methodsPartner with design and development teams to ensure seamless integration of components and tokensMaintain and extend the technical architecture of the Hive design system, to ensure system scalability, performance, and maintainability across platforms and brandsProvide technical mentorship to other team members and support design adoptionBuild trusted relationships with key stakeholders, leading to stronger collaboration within the project
