ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate individual to join our womenswear team as a Senior Creative Product Developer in our Wovens tops, Dresses and Skirts category. In this pivotal role, you will act as the creative link between our buying, trend, supplier, and product development teams, managing the product journey from creative concept through to production handover.
You will lead the research and development process, sourcing new fabrics and trims, organising development fits, and preparing detailed design documentation. Collaborating with buyers and trend teams, you will shape product ranges, ensure samples meet expectations, and support the creative development of ranges through accurate communication and organised workflows.
Your ability to think commercially while innovating, coupled with strong technical and creative expertise, will drive the success of our ranges. If you thrive in managing multiple priorities, delivering creative solutions, and contributing to product excellence, this role is for you!
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Tertiary qualification in Fashion, Textiles, or Design
• Extensive experience in a Creative Product Developer or Fashion Designer role
• Proven ability to lead the product journey from concept to production handover
• Strong skills in trend forecasting and commercial application
• Advanced understanding of fabric sourcing, garment construction, and compliance requirements
• Highly proficient in Design tools and CAD – Illustrator essential, CLO experience preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage sample and fabric libraries effectively
• Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, prioritize, and meet critical deadlines
• Skilled at collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing external supplier relationships
• Proficiency in development tracking and workflow management tools (e.g., PLM systems)
