You’ll be a strategic, ideas-driven thinker who knows how to turn cultural moments, sharp insights, and big thinking into work that earns attention. With a strong understanding of the UK media landscape and a knack for what gets talked about, you’ll lead the creative charge across a range of exciting campaigns—from social-first activations to experiential stunts and everything in between. **Responsibilities** + Ensure all creative briefs are strategically focused, clearly defined, and rooted in a compelling core insight, offering constructive feedback to sharpen and inspire. + Collaborate closely with the creative and account teams to dissect briefs and target audiences, ensuring clear rationale for earned-first strategies and aligning with relevant KPIs. + Identify strong creative territories within briefs, translating insights into original, strategically sound ideas. + Develop ideas across a broad spectrum of briefs, including social, experiential, press office, and beyond. + Provide thoughtful, pre-prepared feedback on ideas to junior creatives and broader team members, actively contributing to collaborative creative discussions. + Champion the use of unique behavioural human insights as the foundation of all creative work, driving differentiation and relevance. + Build confident and collaborative relationships with teammates and account leads, particularly at a mid-management level. + Manage team dynamics effectively across all levels—supporting, challenging, and working alongside peers to deliver strong creative output. + Engage suppliers occasionally to explore the feasibility of creative ideas. + Act as a central creative support for junior team members, helping to uncover and develop fresh insights and perspectives across the agency. + Lead creative sessions and nurture confidence in less experienced or creatively hesitant team members. + Mentor and support junior colleagues, including those from non-creative backgrounds, helping them grow within the creative process. **Qualifications** + Deep understanding of earned media with strong awareness of current cultural and media trends. + Confident in client-facing settings, with the potential to become a key player in pitch development and delivery. + Skilled at dissecting creative briefs, identifying gaps, and uncovering the core challenge. + Passionate about human insights—proactively researching, engaging with others, and uncovering unique sparks that drive the creative process. + Naturally curious and creatively alert—able to find inspiration in the everyday and think beyond the obvious. + Ambitious, self-motivated, and energetic in both attitude and approach to work. + Thrives in a fast-paced, earned-first environment where speed and responsiveness are key—this is not a traditional ad agency setup. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a clear ability to structure, format, and craft compelling pitch decks and presentations. + Receptive to feedback, with a strong desire to learn, grow, and continuously improve. + Strong knowledge of the UK media landscape—from traditional outlets to social platforms. + Able to manage time effectively and juggle multiple tasks across clients and new business opportunities. + Demonstrates a hunger to develop a career at one of the UK’s most awarded consumer earned-first agencies. **Additional information** **Taylor Herring** has fantastic benefits on offer to all of our employees.
