We’ve got what you’re looking for. **Job Description:** Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Senior Cost Estimation Engineer** to join our team! **What You'll Be Doing:** + Contribute to creating and implementing best practices, cost estimating vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance. + Make accurate project cost estimates (from Class 5 to Class 1 estimate levels). + Thorough knowledge and demonstrated experience of directing cost estimating, control and analysis, + Experience and demonstrated skill in establishing criteria and system set-up for all project controls activities. + Statistical knowledge in the areas of sampling distributions, probability, and hypothesis testing. Knowledge in supervision, personnel administration, and training of technical and non-technical personnel. + Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, direct, perform, review, and present cost engineering and cost estimating products. This includes Estimating / products independently with minimal supervision using a high level of professional judgment and knowledge related to technical and engineering design and construction practices. + Working knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up / set up work processes. + Expertise must have been gained from working for reputed firms. + Must have led large Estimating Section with top international firms and on prestigious projects. + Demonstrated skill in mgmt., supervisory, and personnel administrative functions. **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** + Bachelor’s in quantity surveying, engineering or cost engineering from an accredited university. + Minimum 18 years’ experience in Estimating / project controls on large projects. + Preferably certified in CEP or MCIOB or MCIArab. + Excellent Arabic / English verbal and written communication skills + Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio & Databases). **What Desired Skills You’ll Bring** ​ + Estimate preparation. + Estimate Review. + Estimate Planning. + Cost planning + Contingency and risk analysis. + Developing budget requests, cash flow forecasts, & WC analysis + Expert knowledge of Estimating & Cost Management processes & Systems. + **Knowledge of:** + AACE Estimate Classifications. + Planning/Scheduling. + Validation of input data. + Consolidation of estimate reports from multiple projects. + Technical and practical comprehension of health care field and General. + Business Technique.
