Analyzes monthly sales details, cost of goods manufactured and books to physical inventory reports to ensure the accuracy. Develops, communicates, and implements solutions to improve inventory turns and cycle count accuracy for assigned business units. Reviews PPV accounting and ensures clarity to drivers are explained to operations leaders. Reviews production capacity and ensures appropriate Excess capacity accounting is in place. Reviews organizational BI/metric reports for consistency and accuracy. Participates in physical inventory counts and analyzes resulting variances. Approves standard cost updates in ERP System and communicates resulting changes to operations leaders. Performs the annual standard cost update for Labor and Overhead rates. Creates and communicates annual budget and forecasting for assigned business units or locations. Creates, justifies, communicates and coordinates detailed Capital Equipment expenditures planning. Ensures Proper Cost center and Profit center accounting compliance within the organization in ERP System is achieved. Prepares and/or reviews journal entries and reconciliations, as part of the closing process as assigned. Completes research, evaluates, and recommends changes to policies, procedures, cost center and profit center account structure. Ensure compliance with SOX as assigned. Assist both Internal and External auditors with requests. Drive continuous improvement and innovation initiatives across operational and accounting functions.What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, and 3-5 years of work experience in Finance. A broad and in depth understanding of cost accounting and SAP. Excellent communication skills both oral and written. Ability to independently prioritize assignments/ projects and multi-task within restricted time constraints.The salary range for this position is $68,000- $85,000 with potential to earn an annual bonus.
