Caterpillar is seeking an experienced compliance lawyer to join its Global Compliance Legal Team, which is part of Caterpillar’s global in-house legal division. The successful candidate will have the exciting opportunity to lead legal support on a broad range of compliance matters across Europe. The role offers a unique opportunity to become a trusted adviser and compliance leader to all of Caterpillar’s businesses that operate in, or supply products or services to, Europe. The successful candidate will be expected to be a compliance thought leader who partners with business teams, legal professionals and other stakeholders to deliver proactive and innovative legal support. A proven track record of working with limited supervision on complex EU compliance matters, and providing practical and commercially focused advice, is essential. The successful candidate will be part of a small global team and will report to a manager located outside Europe. **What You Will Do:** + Monitor the external regulatory environment across Europe and proactively advise on the impact of regulatory developments. + Provide day-to-day legal advice on compliance matters. + Advise on interactions with government authorities. + Support Caterpillar’s global compliance program initiatives.
