Senior Corporate Actions Officer

Role Description

Working as a Corporate Actions Senior you will be responsible for providing specialist support and advice within the Corporate Actions Team which is responsible for the end to end identification, data gather, allocation and updating of all Corporate Actions on the Wrap Platform across a broad range of investments.

Key Responsibilities

Senior; Expert on the lifecycle of a Corporate Action from initial notification to file closure and responsible for the investigation/resolution of any complex issues

Stakeholders: Maintain strong working relationships with Third Party Custodians, External Fund Managers and internal teams to identify and process all relevant Corporate Actions

Client: Interact with key clients on a weekly basis and actively work to reduce the number of outstanding queries and issues

QA & MI; Support manager in reviewing work and production of MI to demonstrate effectiveness of controls within team

Process Improvement & Documentation; Drive forward ideas from the team to improve the existing operating process and periodically review procedures to ensure completeness

Development; Keep up to date with market changes and developments that impact the team

Technical; maintain technical understanding of platform functionality and operation, end to end view of the process and platform for team

This role is in scope for activities which have an indirect impact on CASS processing which takes place within FNZ for FNZ and/or FNZ’s clients. This role has a requirement to remain up to date with CASS developments and changes as communicated with FNZ

What we are looking for

Significant experience in a Senior Corporate Actions role, ideally within a platform environment

Detailed knowledge of the Corporate Action lifecycle

IOC / Investment Certificate / CFA or working towards

Knowledge of equity markets and CREST would be advantageous

Excellent communication, relationship management and influencing skills

Ability to analyze, present and report complex information to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
