Senior Corporate Accountant - Remote Opportunity!

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team. This role will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial statements, with a primary focus on lease accounting in compliance with ASC 842.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain lease accounting schedulesEvaluate and test lease classificationPrepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations for leases under ASC 842Collaborate with Real Estate and other internal teams to ensure the lease population is properly captured and accounted forAddress external audit requests and support internal controlsAssist with the preparation of the quarterly impairment analysis (ASC 360)Support continuous improvement of lease accounting processesParticipate in special projects related to lease accountingQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field5 years related experience required with 2 years + in public accounting preferredCertified Public Accountant (CPA) preferredStrong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controlsHands on experience with ASC 842Advanced Excel skills requiredExperience with Workday and/or Lucernex is a plus, or similar ERP and lease accounting systemsExcellent analytical, organizational and communication skills#LI-Remote

Range of pay $76,300.00 - $114,500.00 Salary
