Fortive is seeking a motivated and customer focused accounting professional to own key areas of our corporate accounting and reporting processes and to drive system and process improvements. The position provides an opportunity for exposure to accounting, forecasting, and financial/SEC reporting at the corporate level, and involves collaboration with both corporate functions and our operating companies. Career progression opportunities exist within the corporate finance group as well as within the finance groups of our OpCos
The Senior Accountant is responsible applying the principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities.

BS, BA, or MS Degree in Finance or Accounting is required CPA is preferred Enterprise ERP and financial reporting systems experience (HFM, OneStream) preferred Five or more years of experience in a large international business is preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office products (especially Excel) Working knowledge of GAAP and SOX Must be hands-on and detail oriented Candidate must be able to work well in a cross-functional, matrixed organization Must have strong interpersonal and communications skills Capable of operating in a fast-moving, ever changing environment Assist in continuous improvement programs that drive performance gains or reduce risk Participate in kaizen events that drive continuous improvement

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 81,765- 151,915.00
