Job Description:

THE ROLE

Based in the TJX Europe creative studio in Watford, the Senior Creative will create best-in class creative content for the growing retails brands TK Maxx and Homesense and our Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability activity within TJX Europe, part of the global retail company TJX, Inc.

To demonstrate high levels of creative expertise to develop and create content for all digital creative, covering: emails, social, OOH, and much more. Delivering modern, effective and inspiring creative ideas and copy at all times.

Reporting into the Creative Manager (Copy) for TJX Europe, the Senior Creative will have specific responsibility for the timely copy and creative concepting of weekly content in line with agreed schedules and business requirements and will play a role in developing junior team members.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Creative copy delivery

Expert in brand tone of voice and creative copywriting for all brands and CR, through-the-lineDevelop exceptional ideas and write engaging, inspiring and on-brand copy for all channels, especially socialOwnership of creative copy, ensuring delivery of compelling and differentiating on-brand copy for daily, weekly and seasonal campaignsInspire others to find innovative and creative ways to bring Corporate Responsibility themes (and the TK and Homesense brands) to lifeResponsible for the day-to-day creation and timely delivery of work to briefsForms peer groups to influence informally and formally inside and outside The Creative TeamLeads and delivers on core projects from concept creation to proofing final assets, while being responsible for all moving partsTakes ownership and is autonomous over projectsCreate strong work that has an impact on the business growth and market sharePuts the brand and customer at the heart of copy development processWorking closely with the Creative Manager to develop and define differentiating and compelling copy and contentInnovate and maintain up-to-date knowledge of other brands and competitors, especially in the Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability space

Creative Operations

Work closely with the other copywriters, and Brand & Marketing partners, ensuring a consistent and optimised omnichannel approach to all activity, including, but not limited to, working closely with the Brand team, Loyalty, Social Media, PR and Digital Media teams that sit within the core Brand & Marketing functionTakes ownership of processes and is aware of commercial impact on businessFinds creative solutions to creative problemsContribute to the definition and development of copy style and technical guidelinesCapable of handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentIn conjunction with managers, learn, analyse and assess results of campaigns against business objectives to inform future work

Team and Relationship Management

Embody a positive and creative attitude at all timesInfluence change within department which has a wider impact on the functionCreate a positive, supportive and innovative culture within creative copy teamSupport the development of junior copywriters within the teamMaintain and develop strong relationships with the TJX Core Brand and Marketing team, E-commerce teams and business functions to help facilitate the TJX omni-channel visionCollaborates and contributes to team processesAwareness of their impact on the business
