About the Role:
We are looking for a conceptual Copywriter with a big heart and a small ego to join Hinge’s brand team.
You should have a passion for creating inspiring, clear, and contemporary work that lives at the center of culture. 
We’re looking for a true creative to nurture and own Hinge’s narrative vision. You are deeply invested in the mechanics of language with experience in verbal design. You’re excited by big conceptual thinking that’s cleverly rooted in strategy. As a writer, you’re passionate about the impact words can have and are deeply empathetic and considerate in your approach.
Additionally, you’re an expert at your craft, highly strategic, and excited to execute Hinge’s voice and narrative vision across global marketing campaigns, product launches, in-app moments, social impact initiatives, and more.

Across tone and voice, campaign concepts, brand narratives, and social assets—your concise and engaging copy will bring Hinge’s creative and brand strategy to life.Own the tone. Expertly nurture and apply Hinge’s brand voice and messaging system across internal and external touch points—and into new markets.Think big. Turn sharp insights and latest trends in dating, pop culture, and design into out-of-the-box ideas for category-leading marketing campaigns that could include OOH, TVCs, Creator Marketing, and beyond.Steward Hinge’s voice and narrative by collaborating with external creative agencies. As a strategic and thoughtful partner, you’ll provide clear feedback, elevate ideas, and ensure the work aligns with our creative vision.Collaborate with in-house creatives, marketers, product design, and our team of love scientists to inspire daters worldwide.Represent the Hinge brand in Talent and Agency briefings.Take us into the future, with an appetite for AI tools, where/when it's right. What We’re Looking For6+ years of world-class consumer brand marketing experience with a proven track record of growing lifestyle brands.A mix of in-house and agency experience preferred.Experience working across global markets and teams.Experience working at hyper-growth, fast-paced organizations. App experience preferred.Interest in the shape of the AI future. A fearless optimist that is eager to take calculated risks.Experience in writing for design (UX / Content Design) and Art Direction About YouA Copywriter: You have 7+ years of copywriting experience, either in-house or at an advertising agency, complete with a portfolio of work that demonstrates your ability to have big ideas while crafting clear, concise, and engaging copy across OOH, TVC, and beyondStrong experience building brand tone and voice, and messaging frameworks. (Bonus points for experience in naming)Deep understanding of how to apply tone and voice across different platforms and marketsStrong editor and communicator—able to both give and receive constructive feedbackA fearless optimist eager to take calculated risksA willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environmentAn interest in the future of AIBrand marketing experience with lifestyle brands. App experience is preferred.
If you're a talented writer who's passionate about helping people find love, we'd love to hear from you!$115,000 - $150,000 a yearFactors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary range is reflective of a position based in New York City. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.As a member of our team, you’ll enjoy:
