We value our professional and caring employees who are dedicated to improving people’s lives and we want **YOU** to join our team! **What you will be doing:** You’ll be responsible for replenishing essential items in the food services area and dining areas. Will assist with the stocking or food and beverage items and set up cafeteria lines and may be responsible for serving meals. Assist in the storage and inventory of supplies; transfer food ingredients and make available for the meal preparation. Clean food service area, tables and kitchen equipment and appliances as required. **Essential functions:** 1. Establish quantity of food prepared according to the menu and the number of students, coordinate the amount with cooks and culinary workers. 2. Assist in preparation of daily schedule, assign specific duties to staff and monitor and report work performance. 3. Prepare and cook quantity of food required accourding to menu and number of students. 4. Responsible for storeroom inventory and for requisitioning merchandise from the property department. 5. Direct and assist in preparing food for special center functions, visitors and off-center assignments. 6. Prepare foods as directed for special center functions, visitors and off-center assignments. 7. Promote and support positive customer service through the facility. **Education and Experience Requirements:** + High School Diploma or equivalent + 2 years related experience in food services. + Must possess a current ServSafe Certification or Food Handler Permit, according to state requirements where site is located. + Must be able to lift up to 50lbs + A valid driver license in the state where the site is located with an acceptable driving record is required, unless waived by management. **Why:**  Make a positive impact in your community by doing meaningful work that results in a rewarding career.
