Senior Controllership Analyst

Bangsar South Kuala Lumpur

 

As a Senior Controllership Analyst in the Corporate Strategic Business Group (CORP SBG) here at Honeywell, you will hold a critical position within our finance team. Your primary responsibility will be to support the controllership function for the designated region or division within the CORP SBG. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing insights to support business performance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including regional finance teams, tax, legal, and other stakeholders, to drive process improvements and efficiency in financial operations. You will report directly to our Finance Manager within the CORP SBG and you’ll work out of our Malaysia location on a hybrid work schedule.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Audit and tax Coordination: Working with external auditors and tax agent during audits and income tax return submission. Financial Reporting: Preparing and reviewing financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).  Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business performanceEnsure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting policies and regulationsDrive the financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and efficiency in financial operationsProvide valuable recommendations and guidance to senior management for strategic decision-making

 

YOU MUST HAVE

    •   Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or controllership roles
    •   Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations
    •   Experience with financial analysis and reporting
    •   Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
    •   Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis

    •   Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    •   CPA or equivalent certification
    •   Experience with ERP systems and financial consolidation tools
    •   Strong communication and interpersonal skills
