We are hiring a Senior Contract Administrator to join our Spruance Site located in Richmond, VA

Reporting to the Tyvek®/Typar® Global Contract Operations Leader, the Senior Contract Administrator is responsible for the effective administration and coordination of warehouse management services for all aspects of contract and performance management between DuPont and the James River Logistic Center location.

The Senior Contract Administrator will ensure contract provisions and scope of service are implemented and followed properly. Will lead supplier performance reviews and issue identification and resolution between DuPont and supplier to maintain agreed performance levels. The successful candidate will drive supplier continuous improvement in the areas of productivity and cost management to meet annual performance targets. Will be responsible for providing guidance and consultation to sites and/or business units on warehouse management services, and responsible for targeted improvement projects for, particularly in damage and write off reduction and service level (DTP, DTR and shipping lead times) improvements. Additional supplier contracts may also be part of the scope.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Ensures that contract provisions are implemented efficiently and effectively, including receipt of service for payment. Process invoices for accurate internal cost distribution per business direction.Establishes and maintains effective supplier relationships with contracted suppliers.Ensures supplier compliance to all aspects of contract terms, including safety, quality, delivery, and pricing. Monitors company performance relative to contractual obligations.Drive cost productivity and continuous improvement initiatives as project leader, team member, or oversight of supplier.Responsible for the development of scopes of work and supporting the contractor selection process.Activities may include participating in contract negotiations, renewals, and amendments with the buyer.Proactively identify and drive issue resolution and operational contractual disputes with suppliers. Engage Buyer, Supply Chain and business leaders as needed for issue resolution and contractual disputes.Ensures work processes and procedures are compliant with company and regulatory guidelines and that supplier maintains records and approval documentation.Coordinates with Business contacts, Buyer(s), and others to develop Scope of Work documents for contract amendments for service requests.Ensures that sourcing and logistics has required information to maintain contract notices.Networks with contract administrators to ensure consistent interpretation and contract execution.Leads targeted improvement projects including those related to packaging damage, restricted and blocked inventory management, and service improvements, both DTP and shipping lead time.

Skills and Knowledge:​​

Strong knowledge of contract administration, logistics, warehousing, and warehouse management ​​Effective oral and written communications skills and the ability to present information to all levels in the organization.Experience in project management​ as project leader and project team memberStrong analytical and organizational skillsProven ability to develop and execute effective plans.Strong computer skills with Microsoft and SAP​High ethical standards

Qualifications:

BS/BA degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or Engineering discipline preferred or equivalent experience.5 + years of business experience in contract administration, warehousing​, logistics, distribution, packaging, inventory, vendor managementExperience in SAP, Power BI, Excel and SharePoint​Six Sigma Green Belt certification or achieved within 24 months in the role.
