We are looking for a **Senior Continuous Improvement Expert** to join our team in **Považská Bystrica** . This role is key in leading operational excellence through Lean principles, DBS implementation, and continuous improvement projects In addition to driving **lean transformation** , this role will also be responsible for coordinating **external service providers in the areas of maintenance and fluid management** . You will play a central role in cost control, service quality assurance, and performance optimization within these support functions. The role is located in our plant in Považská Bystrica, and reports directly to Production Director. \#LI-ZB1 \#LI-On site **Job Responsibilities** Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following: + Lead the deployment of **Lean tools** (Kaizen, RCPS, 5 Whys, 8D) to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost. + Facilitate **Kaizen events** , problem-solving sessions, and cross-functional workshops. + Lead implementation of the **Danfoss Productivity Program (DPP)** and drive sustainable improvements across the plant. + Maintain and update the **Plant Roadmap** and support execution of **Tactical Implementation Plans (TIPs)** . + Partner with shop floor teams and spend significant time **at gemba** to coach and drive performance improvements. + Use daily management tools (PMS, FMS, RCPS boards) to monitor performance, identify gaps, and take corrective actions. + Support factory leadership in building and sustaining a **culture of accountability and continuous improvement** . + Provide productivity tracking and reporting for supported functional areas. + Coordinate activities in the area of **maintenance and fluid management** in cooperation with **external service providers** . + Monitor and **control the quality of provided services** , maintain records, and **report performance results** to management. + **Evaluate and optimize costs** related to maintenance and fluid services, seeking efficiencies and cost reduction opportunities. + Propose and implement **corrective actions** to improve service reliability, performance, and cost effectiveness in these areas. **Background & Skills** Ideal candidate possesses these skills: **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Industrial Management or related field, or equivalent relevant experience. + 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with proven success in applying lean principles. + Deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing tools, systems, and mindset. + Fluency in English **Preferred Qualifications:** + Previous experience with Maintenance & Fluid management is highly welcome + Experience in a leadership, coaching, or influencing role without direct authority. + Familiarity with Danfoss Business System (DBS) or similar operational excellence frameworks. + Strong analytical thinking and ability to interpret data for decision-making. + Ability to lead cross-functional teams, coach frontline and middle managers, and drive measurable results. + Comfortable with a strong presence on the shop floor (gemba). + Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and performance tracking tools. **Employee Benefits** We are excited to offer you the following benefits with your employment: + Bonus system + Pension plan + Personal insurance + Communication package + Opportunity to join Employee Resource Groups + State of the art virtual work environment + Employee Referral Program This list does not promise or guarantee any particular benefit or specific action.
