We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.
In this role, you will:·
Design, plan, document, and support the configuration of logical and physical SAN layouts.Open to work in a 24x7 support (rotational weekend night shifts)Perform analysis and develop solutions based on established service agreements for capacity planning and performance tuning. Recommend and oversee projects that expand, change, or improve the systems and related infrastructure. Provide assistance in reviewing performance and capacity requests as well as design solution resolution. Contribute as necessary in a hands-on manner with the implementation of solutions in support of all projects. Work with other infrastructure teams for new systems designed and engineered. Resolve complex issues independently; coordinate and communicate changes and issues with the client and team members and determine root cause. Use automation and scripting to increase productivity. Implement Best Practices across Storage estate.Software upgrade for SAN Infrastructure platform. Complete patching, code-upgrades and vulnerability remediation of any Storage SAN equipment requested.Leads efforts to improve processes and meet strategic goals within the team.Ensures team follows IT processes including Change Release management.Oversees SAN performance and capacity by monitoring, alerting and reporting.
