We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and IT system enhancements to ensure intended outcomes for Business and development teams.• Collaborate with Pods and BAs to understand business requirements and change requests, translating them clearly for test resources (Developers, BAs, QA Analysts).• Manage stakeholders with varying expectations and maintain effective communication and interpersonal skills (written and spoken).• Work within multi-site teams, fostering collaboration across different work cultures.• Handle tasks independently or as part of a team, ensuring ownership and resolution.• Ensure traceability between requirements and test cases.• Follow HSBC development methodologies, adhering to coding practices and producing necessary documentation.• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, Selenium, and Cucumber.• Perform manual testing when needed to ensure comprehensive test coverage.• Execute test cases, analyze results, and report defects using tracking tools.• Ensure the automation framework is scalable, reusable, and aligned with best practices.• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation strategies.• Participate in sprint planning, requirement discussions, and defect triage meetings.
