We are seeking a highly experienced and analytical Senior Consultant to join our Solutions Pricing team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing commercial guidance and support to our Sales and Product organization that directly influences Transunion’s revenue growth and profitability.
What You'll Bring:
3+ years of experience in an analytical pricing role where you are able to grasp fundamental pricing principles.Fluency in EnglishA thought-leader with the ability to work independently, influence others, and collaborate with cross-functional departments to accomplish a common goal.High analytical aptitude with exceptional communications skills; the ability to translate data into a relatable story.Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, or another related field
What We’d Love to See:
Experience with Quoting, customer pricing, Bid Desk or Deal Desk.Experience working with sales making strategic pricing recommendations.Experience working with CPQ software either as a pricing professional or a business analyst is highly preferred.Proven aptitude to relationship building, experience working in highly matrixed organizations. In this position, you'll be responsible assisting in both revenue growth and margin management across US Markets. This will include tactical and operations management of contract renegotiations as well as the strategic approach and direction governing pricing decisions. You will be expected to work autonomously to build relationships gaining trust throughout the organization and becoming a pricing evangelist.
Your primary role will be to review pricing proposals and make US Bid Desk pricing recommendations. You will be expected to work on multiple projects at once.This role will also support our Puerto Rico Market for Bid Desk as well as pricing strategy support.You will develop and maintain collaborative relationships throughout TU’s US Markets in order to accomplish work priorities. You will educate, interact and assist management and associates with interpretation of pricing policies and procedures.You will have strong analytical and data management skills and be able to turn pricing strategy into actionable working pricing models.You will assist with the annual List Pricing refresh activities, reviewing and making recommendations for changes to list pricing.You may occasionally be responsible for other ad hoc pricing projects such as the end-to-end delivery of customer repricing campaigns. You will assist in driving incremental price increase revenue targets, then monitor, track, and report on pricing campaigns contributing to the wider team’s objectives.This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.TransUnion Job Title
