What will you be doing? 

As a Senior Consultant Business Risk & Control at PwC, you will be part of an ambitious and diverse team that offers sustainable client solutions. You play a crucial role in supporting our clients within the financial sector in managing their critical business risks. You ensure clients can independently adhere to market standards such as ISAE 3402 and frameworks like COSO ERM, Risk Management Declaration, following regulations such as the Future Pensions Act (Wtp), Basel III, and Solvency II. As a Senior Consultant Business Risk & Control, your responsibilities include: 

Assessment and optimization: Analyze and improve business processes and systems to identify and mitigate risks. 

Strategic advice: Provide advice to clients on optimizing and/or digitalizing their business processes and associated risk management systems. 

Development of risk management frameworks: Work in multidisciplinary teams to create and maintain internal control frameworks for risk mitigation and compliance with policies, laws, and regulations. 

Insightful reporting: Create \ reports and dashboards that offer insights into business risks and effective ways to address them and present those to clients and stakeholders. 

Coaching and guidance: Coach junior colleagues and share knowledge of the latest trends and mechanisms for business control. 

Client relationships and innovation: Maintain strong client relationships and encourage the development of digital solutions, including AI initiatives.

You enjoy collaborating in multidisciplinary teams and are a team player who listens well and conveys ideas clearly to colleagues and clients to create the best solutions. You combine strategic and analytical insights with a passion for business processes, digitalization, and risk management. As a go-getter, you work carefully and consider various interests. Additionally, you create powerful data-driven reports and visuals that are convincing to (senior) management. 

You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience developing and implementing risk management and control mechanisms in business processes of financial institutions, such as credit provision, pension administration, claims management, underwriting, healthcare procurement, etc; 

You understand the importance of risk management and controls within organizations; 

You are interested in innovative business solutions and quickly adapt to them. 

You have a WO master's degree in a field such as Business Economics, Accountancy, Business Administration, or a similar business-oriented study; 

You communicate fluently in Dutch and English and easily adapt to changing work environments; 

Experience and knowledge of laws and regulations related to the financial sector is a plus.
