What you'll be doing
As a member of CIBC's Human Resources (HR) team and reporting to the Director, Human Capital Strategies, you will support and lead on pieces of work related to, reimagining the future of work, HR transformation and talent-based strategies to execute against CIBC's long-term priorities. This role drives strategic thinking, thought-leadership and innovation across key HR workforce initiatives.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.
How you'll succeed
Consulting & Advisory: Provide specialized advice and consultation on human capital and talent management topics. Stay current on best practices and industry trends to inform recommendations and support business cases for new initiatives. Demonstrate initiative and a strong sense of ownership in delivering results that support CIBC’s strategic priorities.Strategic Workforce Planning: Support the development and execution of workforce strategies, including future of work initiatives, HR transformation, and talent-based strategies. Conduct internal and external market research to identify opportunities and translate findings into actionable insights and recommendations. Anticipate emerging trends and proactively identify opportunities to enhance our workforce strategies.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners. Collaborate across teams to gather requirements, validate solutions, and build consensus on workforce strategies. Inspire outcomes through effective communication and by building strong networks across the organization.Communication & Storytelling: Develop compelling presentations, whitepapers, and executive communications to articulate key workforce strategies and recommendations. Translate complex concepts and research into clear, impactful materials for diverse audiences.Data Insights: Utilize people analytics and industry insights to inform strategic direction and measure the impact of workforce initiatives. Apply analytical skills to investigate complex problems, make data-driven decisions, and deliver innovative solutions.Who you are
