Senior Consultant, Scrum Master, Product Management

Major Duties:

1. Responsible for writing and managing detailed project plans; developing innovative process/ workflows.
2. Interfaces with IT on questions and context sharing.
3. Develops and executes test plans and working with the business on initiative implementation through to steady state.
4. Creates business requirement documentation/ IT specification documentation.
5. Facilitates strong partnerships between shared services and IT teams acting as a key point of contact for assigned initiatives.
6. Works with outside vendor teams contributing to assigned initiatives.
7. Delivers regular and timely written/ verbal communications to all project stakeholders through status reports, meeting notes, project charts, issue/risk and action item logs. Escalate issues of resource contention or operational risk with proposed processes for mitigation to senior management.
8. Presides over working group meetings and lessons learnt sessions to facilitate open communication and provide transparency on project status.
9. Operates independently; has in-depth knowledge of business unit / function.
10. As subject area expert, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level.
11. Carries out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult.
12. Role is balanced between high level operational execution and development, and execution of strategic direction of business function activities.
13. Strategic in developing, implementing and administering programs within functional areas.

Knowledge:

Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge is required
Highly flexible and adaptable to change
Technical skills / systems knowledge is required

Experience:

A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is preferred. Related Industry qualification (e.g. ACCA) is preferred

Salary Range:

$83,100 - 141,300 USD

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
