What is the opportunity?
As the Sr. Consultant, Practice Management and Teams, you will work with advisors and their teams to foster an organized, systematic approach to effective team development and strategic business growth. The position will guide top-tier and mid-tier producing advisors and teams through all things practice development and teaming: business planning, segmentation, value proposition, client experience, service models, building a brand, effective client communication, team health and dynamics.
You will assess and guide practices in creating and implementing their teaming and practice development plans, aid in creating, executing and measuring the results of growth strategies and develop and lead workshops and training programs.
What will you do?
Provide proactive and reactive coaching and consulting to advisors and teams (70%)
Serve as a mediator, facilitator, and consultant to advisors and teams through a process which focusses on team health and dynamics in addition to practice efficiency, growth, effective communication and team leadershipProvide coaching and consulting expertise in the areas of teaming, strategic planning, business planning, segmentation, value proposition, service models, building a brand, and effective communicationWork with others in the department, field leadership, and regional consulting teams to identify and work with target advisors and teamsDevelop and lead workshops that illuminate practice opportunities and gaps to inspire action (20%)
Identify areas of greatest need among advisors and teams, and develop strategies to address those needsLead, facilitate and present workshops and programs for our top-tier and mid-tier advisors and teamsContribute team expertise to the field, department and firm (10%)
Work closely with other members of the team to share best practices and to discuss challenges and solutionsContribute to the use of metrics, benchmarks, and regular reporting to track progress and business results for coaching engagements and other department initiativesProvide guidance to branch directors and complex directors on incorporating best practices into their branches and complexesWhat do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Undergraduate degree and 15 – 20+ years experience in financial services, consulting with financial advisorsWillingness to travel; estimated at 30%Ability to learn new systems quickly, project management and organizational skills and dedication to client serviceAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlinesProficiency with Microsoft Suite and willingness to become DISC, Working Genius and Business Coach certifiedNice-to-have
MBA or equivalent work experienceOrganizational health and team development experienceExperience as a financial advisor or in a role that works directly with financial advisorsProficiency with business analytics, client segmentation, tracking and evaluation toolsWhat’s in it for you?

This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
