About the Team

The Bell Canada Pension Group is seeking a Pension Manager to provide consulting services for a diverse clientele of business units within Bell Canada and its affiliates. This team oversees the design, administration, communications, registration and actuarial valuations of a multitude of pension plans with total assets exceeding $20 billion. The role involves ensuring the effective management of these pension plans, with a focus on long-term sustainability and compliance with regulatory and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities Actuarial valuations and IFRS accounting for pension plans Preparing and delivering presentations for various pension committees Leading mandates related to asset liability management Participating in initiatives and communications related to accumulation plans Collaborating with external administrators to address day-to-day issues and operational requirements Critical Qualifications University degree in actuarial sciences Over 10 years of related experience in pensions or actuarial consulting Hold a designation from the Canadian Institute of Actuaries, or be in the process of obtaining it Comprehensive understanding of pension plan design, regulations and administration Preferred Qualifications High level of initiative, with the ability to anticipate and address complex challenges Establish and maintain effective relationships with cross-functional project teams and colleagues

 

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
