Design and develop scalable and secure solutions to manage client data within ECIS domain, ensuring compliance with data governance and privacy regulations (e.g., PII consent capture). Lead the modernization of legacy systems, supporting migration of the client data management applications to cloud-native environments on Azure or OpenShift. The role provides consultation for senior management on a wide spectrum of existing and emerging infrastructure technologies, translating user requirements to process and data requirements and developing solutions for the business with far-reaching impact. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most_ _optimal_ _for you to thrive in your role. Understand the business requirements and translate them into system and application design that is aligned with our technology roadmap. Design and document the technical functionality, infrastructure, interfaces, and integrations. + **Domain Expertise:** Bring deep knowledge of client data management systems and the complexities of maintaining PII and consent compliance. + **Technical Expertise:** Leverage expertise in Java, Quarkus, Oracle, ETL, and cloud platforms to design and implement robust solutions. + **Strategy and Roadmap:** Contribute to technology roadmaps that are aligned with the bank’s vision, strategy, and business objectives. Lead multiple complex technology solutions while maintaining consistency across the platform, adopting best practices and pushing forward continuous improvements + **Collaboration and Leadership:** Partner effectively with stakeholders across business and technology teams while mentoring and guiding development teams, ensure that the overall design aligns with business requirements as well as architectural directions **Who You Are** + **You can** **demonstrate** **8-10+ years’** **experience in.** application development and solution design, with a focus on client data management. + **Technology Expert.** You bring hands-on expertise in Java, Quarkus, Oracle database, Solace, React, and cloud platforms like Azure or OpenShift.
