Position: Senior Construction Engineer

Role Summary:
As a Senior Construction Engineer, you’ll lead and support brownfield construction activities for complex oil and gas projects, including shutdown and non-shutdown scopes (CAT IV–VI). You’ll provide constructability input during planning, manage construction interfaces, and ensure safe, timely, and quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Input:
Provide early constructability input during site visits and design phases. Contribute construction planning, cost estimates, and execution strategy. Safety Oversight:
Review contractor safety plans, lead safety walks, monitor performance, and support incident investigation and reporting. Risk & Execution Management:
Identify key execution risks, develop mitigation strategies, and participate in constructability and brownfield planning reviews. Quality & Inspection:
Ensure work meets technical and quality standards, including inspection, testing, and review of construction deliverables. Interface Management:
Coordinate construction interfaces, support project reviews, and close out related documentation and approvals. Construction Oversight:
Manage field construction activities, including offshore and shutdown scopes, while ensuring safety (especially during SIMOPS). Performance Monitoring:
Assess contractor performance, workforce availability, equipment readiness, and site conditions. Recommend improvements as needed. Resource Planning:
Identify and plan for key equipment, tools, accommodations, and storage needs for smooth execution. Scheduling & Progress:
Work closely with planning teams to challenge and validate schedules. Identify risks and propose mitigation plans. Tendering Support:
Support ITT package development, vendor prequalification, technical and commercial evaluations, and contract awards.
Qualifications & Experience: Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field. Experience:
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry, with a strong background in brownfield construction and project execution. Skills: Fluent in English (verbal and written) Proficient in MS Office and engineering software Strong coordination, planning, and communication skills Safety-focused, with solid QA/QC and construction knowledge
