Senior Consolidations Accountant
Job Title: Sr. Consolidations Accountant

Job Description

The Sr. Consolidations and Reporting Accountant, plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and transparency of the company's financial statements and results of operations.

ResponsibilitiesExecute monthly close process for several corporate entities, including recording journal entries, performing account analysis, and uploading the trial balance into the consolidation platform.Execute the monthly management representation process with local controllers, regional finance directors, and corporate finance team members to ensure all assertions on the monthly financial statements are appropriate for the period and collected in a timely manner.Prepare and distribute foreign exchange rates to the global finance team for use in global consolidation procedures.Administer the monthly variance analysis process to global entities, including preparing, distributing, receiving, and reviewing variance files and discussions provided by the global finance team on the monthly results.Work with cross-functional teams, including Treasury and Financial Planning and Analysis teams, to understand significant P&L variance drivers and assist in driving conversations with leadership on monthly results, process standardization, improvements, and efficiencies.Assist with the global consolidation process, including reconciliations of lease accounting balances reported on the balance sheet and P&L to the global lease accounting software.Prepare global intercompany reports reconciling balances due to and from affiliated entities.Reconcile intercompany loan balances reported on the balance sheet with the loan schedule prepared by Corporate Treasury.Assist with preparing supporting files for footnote disclosures under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in the annual Audit Report.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar field.3+ years of GL Accounting experience with international companies using multiple exchange rates in financial reporting.3+ years of experience in variance analysis and reporting for international companies.3+ years of experience in intercompany reconciliations and handling international currency.Advanced proficiency in Excel, including macros, SUMIF, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and other advanced formulas.Conceptual understanding of lease accounting.Proficiency in MS Office applications.Experience with larger ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Oracle ERP.Familiarity with FCCS Reporting Tool.Experience in global consolidations.Work Environment

This position offers a remote work environment but requires the candidate to be local to Philadelphia, as occasional office visits (1-2 times a month) may be necessary. The role allows for collaboration with global partners and provides the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion implementation and the transition to the FCCS reporting tool.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
