Senior Concept Engineer-Digital

Who is responsible for the complete technical solution for a certain KTI concept experimentation at a time, typically a component or minor Elevator and Escalator system level concept study. Focus and accelerate new technology design study for elevator industry.

Responsibilities and key activities:

Create and maintain Project specification & plan:

Create technical requirement specification for technical solution for Innovation studyCreate plan (schedule, resource, costs)Work with Product owner and business owner to understanding customer values and new solution application range

Create and select proposals of new technical solutions:

Generate new ideas and create new solution proposalsSelect best proposals for selection / decision makingDevelop the technical solutions for given specs ensuring a) functionality, b) quality and reliability c) cost d) manufacturability e) interfaces to other technologies, f) compliance with applicable technical codes and standardsArrange all relevant testing and validation for new ideasCreate design/engineering documentation of a complete component or product concept.

Skills, Education and Experience

Professional requirements

AI application tools, AutoCAD, MS office and relevant design tools excellent user experienceResearch and Development methodologiesProject management methodologiesKnowledge of global and local legal requirements and applicable technical codes and standards” to the “Professional requirements”Innovative mindset for new technology and solution creation.Proactive communication for problem solving.

Entry-level requirements

Computer Science, Automation or equivalent major and Bachelor or above degreeMin 8 years of product development experience or excellent track record of one successful major projectDeep technical knowledge about the specific area (e.g. AI technology application, Service and Maintenance business operations.)Fluent reading/oral/writing English capacityElevator industry experience will be added value
