Kroll’s Senior Compliance Specialist will work with Compliance management to maintain and administer all aspects of the firm’s Restructuring and Fund Solutions compliance program. Responsible for performing day to day compliance duties, routinely communicating regulatory requirements to employees, and ensuring all firm processes are being followed.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Work with central compliance to administer regulated funds and restructuring compliance programs Gain an understanding of global fund solutions, insolvency, and restructuring services Assist with maintenance of regulatory compliance requirements including CIMA Manage routine regulatory filings as necessary Update and maintain policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines Stay current on regulatory updates and changes Identify, communicate, and escalate compliance related issues as appropriate Interact with the business on a regular basis to communicate regulatory requirements and assist with questions or issues Assist with Anti Money Laundering program Assist central compliance team with special projects wherever possibleEssential Traits:
3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry strongly preferred Bachelor’s Degree required. Legal background or experience a plus In depth knowledge of Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) regulations Familiarity with regulated fund environment across additional regulatory regimes (BVI, Mauritius, Bermuda, Gibraltar) a plus Knowledge of SEC regulations (Investment Advisers Act, Investment Company Act) a plus Self-starter who can take direction easily and work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environmentAbout Kroll
