Position Summary: This position supports the Director of US Government Compliance in the operation of the company's global USG integrity and compliance program. This role is responsible for operating Parker's USG Compliance program across all global operations, assessing regulatory changes that may impact the company's government-regulated business, and ensuring the necessary adjustments to compliance policies to mitigate risks. Essential Functions: + Apply comprehensive US-regulated business knowledge (e.g FARS/DFARS) to develop and manage company policies and procedures and perform review/consulting assignments and analyses as required. + Create and deliver training materials to Division, Group and Corporate teams regarding USG compliance objectives and processes. + Recommend actions to Division/Group leadership teams regarding policies on critical and/or sensitive matters by analyzing and interpreting data and making complex comparative analyses. + Research, interpret, and advise on complex policies and regulations. Develop proposed changes in policies within the corporation working with stakeholders and the legal department. + Ensure program guidelines comply with company policy, legal requirements, and applicable government regulations. + Serve as a point-of-contact for compliance program status and problem resolution. + Establish program reporting and audit systems. + Assess project/program issues through on-site visits and remote processes and develop unique solutions to meet goals and objectives. + Comply with federal and state legal requirements and professional standards. Study existing and new legislation, enforce adherence to requirements, and advise management on needed actions. + Provide on-site support for Agency audits. + Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing professional networks, and active participation in professional societies. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Business Administration or related field. + Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through fifteen (15) or more years of increasingly responsible related experience including four or more years managing compliance program elements or projects of significant scope and responsibility. + Advanced degree and related specialty certification strongly preferred. + Comprehensive knowledge of contracting principles, industry practices, regulations, and policies in the area of US Government regulated business. + Knowledge of complex legal and regulatory requirements related to program administration. + Proficiency with general program management practices and techniques for large-scale implementation. + Ability to effectively assess and implement programmatic changes in critical and/or high-impact areas. + Ability to work on most complex and/or sensitive problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables and/or incomplete data; understand problems from a broad, long-term perspective. + Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex policies and recommend changes to procedures. + Ability to respond to significant inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. + Ability to effectively communicate and present information to team members, team leaders, vendors, customers, and top management. + Proficient with standard business applications software (e.g. databases, spreadsheets, etc.) + Ability to effectively demonstrate effective business skills and participate in goal setting, performance feedback, and self-development activities.
