BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The Senior Compliance Consultant serves as a compliance resource for clients and colleagues in Marsh McLennan Agency East Region’s Retirement Services Division, effectively communicating complex compliance requirements to clients, stakeholders, and service team members. The Senior Compliance Consultant is responsible for conducting compliance testing for client retirement plans and providing expert guidance on corrective actions. This role assists with Form 5500 filings, supports audits, and ensures plan documents meet regulatory standards. The Senior Compliance Consultant demonstrates and actively maintains strong working knowledge of current industry regulations and relevant legislative updates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited, to the following:
Conduct and review annual ADP/ACP testing, top-heavy testing, and cross-testing for client retirement plans (401(k), 403b, and 457)Review and ensure accuracy of Form 5500 filings and associated schedulesProvide expert guidance to clients on corrective actions for failed compliance testsAssist clients in understanding and fulfilling their fiduciary responsibilities related to retirement plan complianceStay informed about regulatory updates and industry trends impacting retirement plan complianceReview plan documents, amendments, and Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) to ensure compliance with applicable regulationsSupport plan audits and reviews to identify and resolve compliance issues proactively.Communicate complex compliance requirements clearly and effectively with clients, plan sponsors, and other stakeholdersProvide training and internal support on compliance processes, best practices, and regulatory changesREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceJuris Doctor (JD) preferred but not requiredMinimum of 10 years of experience in 401(k), 403b, and 457 plan compliance and administrationExtensive knowledge of ADP/ACP testing, top-heavy testing, IRC 415 limitations, and cross-testing methodologiesProven experience with annual Form 5500 filings and related schedulesKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Work is typically in a hybrid manner based out of our Conshohocken, PA office.The applicable base salary range for this role is $127,800 to $204,000.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
