Role Overview\:The Senior Completions Specialist [Line I] plays a critical role in ensuring construction systems are completed, verified, and transitioned to commissioning in accordance with project procedures, industry standards, and client requirements. This role is based on-site and is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of systems completions from mechanical completion through pre-commissioning to handover.
Key Responsibilities\:Lead and coordinate Line I completions activities on-site for assigned systems or units, ensuring compliance with project completions procedures and quality standards.
Interface between construction, quality, commissioning (Line II), and operations teams to ensure seamless progression of system handovers.
Oversee Mechanical Completion (MC) activities, including system walkdowns, punch listing, and verification of construction completion.
Coordinate and verify inspection test records (ITRs), check sheets, punch list closeouts, and turnover packages to ensure readiness for pre-commissioning.
Maintain and update the Completions Management System (CMS) (e.g., WinPCS, CoConsole, Orbit, etc.) with accurate status reporting of discipline and system-level completions.
Ensure that discipline-specific completion activities (piping, electrical, instrumentation, civil, structural, mechanical) are executed in accordance with the project schedule and turnover priorities.
Participate in system walkdowns and ensure timely punch resolution for A/B/C class items, driving closeout for system handovers.
Collaborate closely with QA/QC, construction supervision, and commissioning teams to ensure compliance with turnover criteria.
Support development and review of system boundaries, turnover, and test packages.
Assist in developing and refining the system completion schedule and progress reporting.
Mentor junior completions personnel and act as subject matter expert for completions processes and procedures.
Champion site safety and quality in all activities and uphold a high standard of compliance and accountability.
*Qualifications & Experience\:Experienced in construction completions, commissioning, or quality within large-scale industrial projects (Oil & Gas, Power, Mining, or Infrastructure).
Proven track record in Line I (construction phase) completions, system walkdowns, and MC documentation.
Strong knowledge of completions systems and databases.
Experience with discipline-specific completions (piping, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation).
Familiarity with ISO standards, project turnover processes, and system handover requirements.
Excellent communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
Certification in completions or commissioning management (e.g., AACE, PMI, or vendor-specific training) is an asset.
