Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization
Act as the South Korea Rewards Partner, collaborating with HR and Business Stakeholders on all total rewards matters (Compensation, Benefits, Cross-Border Employment). Drive implementation and compliance with Global & Local Rewards policies, programs, and tools, ensuring local governance. Provide market insights to the Rewards community, drive impactful changes and facilitate communication with internal and external clients.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead all HR Rewards activities for South Korea, including Compensation, Benefits, Cross-Border Employment, and HR Systems support, ensuring successful execution of global programs as well as local initiatives.
• Implement global Rewards policies & procedures, incorporating necessary local addendums
• Represent South Korea within the global Rewards community, providing input on program design and ensuring local alignment/coordination of global initiatives.
• Initiate and negotiate improvements to Rewards processes, tools, and programs
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax, social security laws, internal policies, and Service Level Agreements
• Own communication and training for all Rewards topics for stakeholders in South Korea.
• Monitor statutory regulations, internal policies, and market trends to identify and implement necessary adjustments ensuring legal compliance and policy adherence, providing insights and analysis to both global rewards network and local HR
• Partner with GBS & CBE Teams to support both local and international employees according to policy, implementing local requirements (tax, social security, etc.)
• Partner with HRD and ER to facilitate work union negotiation on Rewards relevant topics

• High level of analytical skills, good level of dealing with numbers

• Excellent command of local language and English

• Good knowledge of local labour law and social security regulations, tax knowledge as a plus

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• University degree or equivalent
• 8+ years of overall work experience in HR with a focus on Rewards / C&B in international Companies with matrix structures
• Project Management experience, payroll experience as a plus
