We’re currently seeking a Sr. Compensation Analyst to join our Headquarters team!
In this role you will be responsible for delivering on Mister Car Wash's compensation needs through analytical and consulting services. This role manages complex compensation challenges and coaches key stakeholders on the company’s compensation philosophy and strategy, advising them on policies, practices, and processes (e.g., new hire offers, retention, promotions).
Partnering with assigned client groups, this position supports all compensation matters, managing compensation transactions and approvals while maintaining trust-based relationships with stakeholders. Success in this environment requires someone who thrives in a fast-moving setting and is comfortable navigating ambiguity.
Responsibilities include assessing competitive labor market trends, leveraging market data as needed, and designing and delivering compensation infrastructure (e.g., variable compensation plans, job family ranges). With a focus on ensuring alignment with business needs, it also supports the rollout of compensation policy changes, ensuring adoption and comprehension across the organization.
What You Will Do:
Contribute to the development and improvement of compensation programs, with opportunities to lead initiatives Establish cross-functional partnerships within assigned client group(s) Identify gaps in data and reporting, collaborating with relevant teams to resolve issues Manage urgent or ad-hoc requests by resolving, escalating, and engaging the appropriate teams Use analytics tools and data to assess business performance and trends Interpret data insights to craft compelling narratives that support decision-making Prepare and present insights for business reviews within assigned client groups Stay informed on local labor laws and contracts impacting compensation policiesHow You Will Shine:
Bachelor’s degree required Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills with a proven ability to plan, execute, and audit work. Must possess a curious mindset and the ability to see beyond the numbers to drive decisions and develop alternative solutions Highly proficient in Excel analytics and modeling Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy while maintaining a strategic perspective Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills for internal presentations. Must demonstrate business acumen, proactively seek information, convey requests clearly, and provide informed recommendations Ability to effectively manage communication and relationships within a matrix organization structure Hands-on and high-energy professional who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment while working independently and effectively Extensive experience in compensation and benefits or consulting, with deep expertise in core compensation terminology and best practices Strong understanding of compensation systems and relevant legislation Proven expertise in rewards management, including job evaluation, surveys, market pricing, and salary range development Demonstrated ability to lead and oversee complex corporate or multi-regional initiatives Self-motivated professional who takes ownership and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment
