Senior Community Development Manager

The Senior Regional Community Development Relationship Manager will be responsible to support a comprehensive community development program in HSBC, the New York and New Jersey Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) assessment areas to maintain highest possible CRA regional ratings. Implements specific and detailed regional action plans for programs and products to ensure that HSBC meets CRA goals within the New York Region. Develop, execute and enable delivery of plans for HSBC businesses to drive maximum CRA credit. Refers lending and investment opportunities that meet department criteria. Supports HSBC staff and all community development service opportunities.

As our Senior Community Development Manager you will:

Establish and maintain deep relationships with over 30 Community Development partners and CRA advocates to assess community needs, surface community concerns and coordinate and facilitate Company responses from within and outside the department. Provide superior customer service to community groups throughout New York and New Jersey CRA assessment areaDetermine innovative and creative community development activities for CRA creditParticipate in CRA Exam preparation activities including the research and compilation of performance context information on a regular basis for each area of responsibilityIdentify and nurture relationships with community contacts, determining strength of current relationships and develop action plans as needed to strengthenImplement a local community development strategy to update or maintain CRA regional ratingsPartner with community development groups and affordable lending nonprofits to establish referral relationships and support lending and investment growth and that provide opportunities to participate in CRA eligible service activitiesRepresent the Company at community-sponsored meetings and events including advisory and planning committees, board and loan committees and fundraising events

For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $125,600.00 and $188,300.00

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
