That is the mission of Corporate Communications.
We are currently seeking a future Head of Corporate Communications to strengthen this function and lead it globally. In this high-impact role, you will work closely with the CEO and executive leadership to design and execute communication strategies that align seamlessly with our business direction.

You will also serve as the dedicated communications partner to the CEO, supporting the development of high-stakes internal and external communications.
We welcome candidates with exceptional communication skills in both Japanese and English, and a vision to become the next leader of Corporate Communications at Renesas.

【Role Responsibilities】

Develop and execute internal and external CEO and executive communications (including PR releases, press conferences, speeches, internal All Hands meetings and Roundtables, social media, etc.)Create content for the above activities (messages, presentations, etc.)Develop and implement communication strategies to promote the company's key initiatives and strategiesCreate content for the above activities (messages, presentations, etc.)Plan and execute various initiatives and events to enhance employee engagementCrisis communication managementSupport CEO's internal and external communications by developing plans and materials related to their communications (including speeches, presentations, etc.)

Qualifications

Ability to draft content and messaging for a range of communications channelsInterpersonal skills to effectively communicate with the CEO (thinking from an upstream perspective)Native level verbal and written skills in English and JapaneseAdept at managing high-stakes corporate communicationsAbility to plan and drive PJs with cross-functional teamsHave an entrepreneurial spirit and be passionate, creative and eager to learnAbility to deliver in high pressure situations and with short deadlinesStrong judgement and the ability to respond quickly, yet thoughtfully, to urget mattersAbility to work flexibly with people in different time zonesStrong partnership capabilities with cross-functional teams

Experience in semiconductor hardware & software PR, Marketing, Corporate Strategies, Finance/Investor RelationsExperience in employee communicationsAn enthusiastic, can-do attitude, a problem solver, able to work autonomously, natural leadership characteristics, high energy and sense of urgency while being patient when setbacks occurOutgoing, positive person that collaborates well and can handle a complete communications program, from strategic to tactical Ability to work in a global, multicultural environment with the ability to influence without formal authority
