What will your responsibilities be?
For both the strategic and operational sourcing for defined sub-commodities within the Springs, Wires, Welded Assemblies & Die Cast parts.Develop and implement commodity strategies for the defined commodity.Meet or exceed profit plan goals related to commodities including: cost savings, economics, supplier rationalization, working capital improvements and other key metrics.Support implementation of regional commodity strategies.Maintain and update cost saving roadmaps.Leverage of purchases across all business units and global programs.Benchmarking and competitive sourcing.Conducts cost-breakdown analysis.Enhanced Sourcing {w /landed costs}.Market tests.Utilizes RFQ tools & systems to manage supplier negotiations and data, to identify and drive project execution within given Commodity.Leads strategic negotiations and review all agreements prior to execution.Leads Quarterly Business reviews with Suppliers.Supplier pricing negotiation.Support accurate and timely reporting of key measurables.Support implementation of standardized global activities.New supplier investigation.Support the VAVE initiative.Create contingency plans for distressed suppliers.Perform Make vs. Buy analysis.Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?
Bachelor’s degree in Business, or Supply Chain or related technical field+5 years of purchasing experience in automotiveIn depth knowledge of the procurement processIn depth understanding of purchasing tools and practicesAbility to recognize and respond to expectations with sense of urgencyAbility to cooperate with people of different levels inside/ outside the company and to interact with team to reach team goals and business objectivesAbility to gather information, analyze data, prepare and lead negotiations as well as deliver a recommendationFluent English skills mandatoryRelevant SAP knowledge; very good Excel skillsUp to 25% travel may be required, driving license BWhich benefits do we offer?
Base monthly salary starting from 2800 EUR gross.
