As a Senior Commercial Platforms Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Salesforce Product Owner in managing the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Waters’ Salesforce platform. Utilizing an Agile development model, you will consult and collaborate with global business stakeholders to understand current business processes, identify pain points, and translate requirements into actionable user stories. A significant focus will be on partnering with IT resources to develop solutions that drive business value. You will be involved in both large-scale, transformational, company-wide initiatives as well as continuous efforts to evolve platform features. A self-starter attitude, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to innovation are critical to this role.

 

Deep and advanced knowledge of business processes for Sales.Salesforce experience required.Salesforce certifications a plus (Salesforce Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Field Service Lightning Consultant)Strong understanding of sales operations, territory planning, and forecasting processesExperience with Salesforce Sales Territories (aka Enterprise Territory Model) a plusAbility to understand current processes, evaluate areas for improvement, document gaps and a path to close the gapAbility to see the big picture and break it down into deliverable “chunks”Ability to facilitate a team to consensus and ability to influence the activities of othersOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsMentor/Train other BA’s in the group Responsibilities Business Process Understanding: Acquire and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Waters’ business processes, specifically in sales and marketing.Support Product Vision: Assist the Salesforce Product Owner in defining and managing the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Salesforce platform.Process Analysis and Improvement: Analyze existing business processes and collaborate with the Product Owner to identify areas for improvement and drive global harmonization.Stakeholder Collaboration: Consult and liaise with key global stakeholders and work closely to gather requirements, understand their needs, and translate into process flow diagrams and actionable user stories.Agile Development: Utilize Agile methodologies to ensure efficient and effective development processes.  Organize epics and user stories into manageable and deliverable chunks of work. Continuously improve the backlog with the team, ensuring all items are clearly described, estimated, and prioritized.Responsible to lead sprint refinements, attend daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.Validate delivered work against acceptance criteria and agreed upon “definition of done.” Data Management: Conduct data loads through Salesforce Data Loader as needed.Territory Management: Provide support in defining territory rules, hierarchies, and assignment logic.Territory Optimization: Analyze and optimize territory structures to improve sales coverage, reduce overlaps, and enhance performance.Performance Monitoring: Monitor platform performance using measurable KPIs. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required; Degree (Bachelor’s or Masters) in Computer Science, Business, or Product Design preferred4+ years working with stakeholders in a business environment, working across cross-functional groups to apply software solutions to business problemsExperience with Agile methodology, writing user stories, prioritizing backlog, etc. Company Description
