The Senior Commercial Manager is responsible for supporting a dynamic team of sellers in focusing on group and transient sales.
Hilton’s Commercial Services organization is comprised of team members driving our sales, revenue, marketing, catering and events management, call centers, and analytics functions. These functions are the core of Hilton’s “commercial engine” and are essential to Hilton’s ability to drive profitable growth. The Sales Coordinator will support this “commercial engine”.
Responsibilities
Support the group and leisure sales team with contracting, proposals, reporting, and sales systems.Coordinate internal and external communications.High level of engagement with customers including:Support of team’s site visits and pre-convention meetingsSupport of sales managers with travel planning and preparation.Meetings with customers to represent sales leaderHost virtual calls, manage post-event surveys, and collaborate with the Marketing team on assets for Sales Managers and Directors.Collaboration with Hilton Worldwide Sales towards demand and conversion generationLiaise with property teams and Global Sales representatives, coordinating team and client activities.Help handle RFPs and Preferred Agreements and act as a liaison between sales teams, operations teams and customers.Manage department supplies, expenses, schedules, forecasts, month-end closing, ad-hoc inquiries, and administrative tasks.Maintain internal/external letters, forms, bookings, contracts, resumes, room lists, schedules, and mail assisting with email correspondence directed by managers.Review and update wholesale media, group accounts, and account development plans.Assist on other administrative responsibilities when required and directed.Organize event participation, meetings, and travel plans, ensuring accurate documentation of activities and arrangements.Be the backup support for Sales Analyst, participate in relevant events, and serve as a point of contact in the absence of sales personnel.Manage expenses, invoice process, and maintain controllable expenses for the Sales and Marketing Department, including budget preparation and tracking, P&L forecasting, closing, and reporting.Support the sales team with preparation of sales presentations and communication updates.Build strong relationships with CVB and 3rd party travel partners.Qualifications:
Minimum two (2) years hotel professional experience is required, luxury experience preferred
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (including MS Teams, Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint)
You are fluent in English with excellent communication skills (presentations, written, and verbal)
Travel up to 10%
It would be beneficial to have:
Experience organizing and managing multiple projects
Hold a two-year track record in Luxury hotel Sales and Marketing function
Familiarity with Hilton computer systems, including Delphi FDC/Salesforce
Additional language skills are a bonus, particularly with Dutch, Spanish, Papiamento, or Portuguese
BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree
Proficiency in Delphi FDC preferred
