Senior Commercial Manager (Seattle, WA)

Description

The Senior Commercial Manager will lead commercial strategy and performance analytics for a growing digital initiative. This role is responsible for driving sales, transactions, and profitability through data-driven decisions related to pricing, promotions, assortment, and customer engagement. The position requires a strong commercial mindset, analytical expertise, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Own the commercial model, including forecasting, margin optimization, and profitability tracking

Drive ROI through strategic investments and performance optimization

Analyze and report on key performance indicators such as traffic, conversion, average order value, retention, and transaction growth

Lead pricing and promotional strategies using data-driven insights to optimize performance across product categories

Provide performance analytics for pilot programs to support demand planning, replenishment, and fulfillment strategies

Develop and refine subscription models, including pricing, bundling, and retention metrics

Manage integration of third-party consumer goods models, ensuring commercial alignment and operational efficiency

Collaborate with Finance, Tax, and Accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting and financial governance

Partner with digital, technology, product, and operations teams to enhance user experience and conversion

Monitor and respond to retail and consumer trends, translating insights into actionable strategies

Ensure commercial decisions align with brand values and customer expectations

Proven experience in data analytics, financial modeling, and forecasting

Strong understanding of consumer behavior and digital marketing

Experience managing cross-functional teams and external partnerships

Familiarity with subscription models and pricing strategies

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Highly analytical, results-oriented, and comfortable with ambiguity

Experience in global or multi-market environments (preferred)

Education:

Degree or certifications not required but considered a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $85.00/hr.
