Position Statement
\nThe Senior Commercial Manager Focused Service Greater China & Mongolia (GCM) will be responsible for supporting the commercial performance of focused service managed hotels, and pre-opening of focused service managed hotels in GCM.
\n§ The role will be responsible for maximizing profitability for focused service managed hotels, with an objective to achieve hotels’ budgeted revenue and increase RevPar Index and market share targets. Support and collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete respective commercial actions, commercial reviews, or support initiatives/projects.
\n§ From a pre-opening perspective, the role will also support ensuring the successful delivery of all focused service newly managed hotels opening across the Greater China & Mongolia region.
\n\nWhat will I be doing?
\nAs the Senior Commercial Manager Focused Service Greater China & Mongolia (GCM), you would continue your efforts to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

§ Support the Senior Director & Commercial Director, Focused Service conduct or collaborate on all activities needed to grow the focused service managed hotels’ performance, manage with any performance growth opportunities, increase profitability, achieve hotel budgeted revenue, and increase market share targets.
\n§ Support all commercial aspects of focused service managed hotels from preparation to a smooth opening and support the ramp-up once the hotel is opened.
\n§ Ensure focused service managed hotels’ commercial teams
\n§ Implement the right strategies in place to deliver their revenue targets.
\n§ Use Hilton sales systems and tools in accordance with our standards;
\n§ Have appropriate targets in place (SIP).
\n§ Evaluate and identify business opportunities for hotels and directs accordingly.
\n§ Optimize sales resources, to drive market share from key segmentation.
\n§ Capture maximum demand and drive the highest level of conversion.
\n§ Align with regional and enterprise-wide plans
\n§ Hold regular productivity reviews with the focused service hotels' commercial teams to ensure we are acquiring enough new customers as well as growing existing customers' revenue and market share.
\n§ Manage the appropriate commercial targets & objectives for the hotels and navigate how those targets & objectives are going to be accomplished.
\n§ Support the Senior Director & Commercial Director, Focused Service & key stakeholders to optimize the resources and activities of the hotel's commercial team.
\n§ Support all focused service managed hotels commercial people trained and equipped to drive business.
\n§ Direct Reports: Coach and Lead Commercial Manager to maintain stakeholder relationships at all levels, and collaborate with Development, Brand Management, Technical Services, Hotel Operations, Human Resources, IT, Finance, and other Pre-Opening and/or functions to deliver sustained business goals.

§ Bachelor Degree in Hotel Management preferred
\n§ 8 years and above working experience
\n§ Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
\n§ Excellent organizational skills, multi-tasking skills, strategic planning capabilities and time management.
\n§ Ability to work well under deadline pressure.
\n§ Ability to deliver presentations in a concise, well-organized manner.
\n§ Ability to work in a matrix organization.
\n§ Critical thinking and both quantitative and qualitative analytics skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths/weakness of alternative and differentiated solutions, conclusions or approaches to problem.
\n§ Self-starter, well organized, extremely detail-oriented and an assertive team player, willing to take ownership of responsibilities, and possess a high level of positive energy and drive
\n§ Absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information
\n§ Dynamic, innovative and creative in finding business solutions
\n§ Flexibility to travel
\n§ Previous relevant experience in regional role is preferred.
\n§ Experience dedicated to commercial sales is preferred.
\n§ Experience working in focused services hotel is preferred.
\n§ Hospitality industry experience preferred in Sales or Revenue roles.
