Join our Melbourne-based team as a Senior Commercial Manager where you'll oversee major customer contracts and key suppliers during transformation and BAU phases. Your role will involve contract negotiation, resolving commercial disputes, managing contract implementation, and preparing contract variations.
You will assist the Commercial Director to manage strategic relationships involving information technology and ticketing services in a complex contractual and relational environment. You will also contribute to account strategy development.
**Key responsibilities:**
+ Lead complex customer and supplier negotiations to optimize CVTS' commercial, financial, and contractual position.
+ Act as a point of contact for contract scope interpretation and deliverables.
+ Provide contractual advice to internal and external stakeholders.
+ Review and approve contract variations.
+ Manage contract updates and agreement changes.
+ Identify and analyze key risks to contract implementation.
+ Develop commercial risk mitigation strategies.
+ Resolve commercial disputes with customers and suppliers.
+ Establish and maintain high-level relationships within CVTS and with customers.
+ Collaborate with procurement, operations, legal, and delivery groups on business opportunities.
+ Support finance and project managers to ensure efficient contract delivery and cost reduction initiatives.
**Requirements:**
+ Degree in business or legal discipline.
+ Solid experience in a commercial environment with superior negotiation skills.
+ Knowledgeable in delivering large technology projects.
+ Comprehensive understanding of commercial contract clauses and contract law.
+ Strong project and time management skills.
+ Superior analytical and numeracy skills.
+ Ability to work in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team environment.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills.
