Position Summary:

Performs regular and ad-hoc reporting within Global analytics framework to support Regional Comm Ops resources.

Position Responsibilities:

Reporting 

Develop data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions.  Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining and engineering as well as modeling, visualization and communication deliverables. Partner with local and global to drive analytics and reporting outcomes Empower end-users to ask their own questions of company/industry data through development and deployment of self-service reporting Capture user requirements for standard reports. Define user requirements and work with users to execute projects to meet requirements 

Business Partnership & Insights

Partner closely with business stakeholders to proactively identify opportunities, deliver actionable insights, and influence strategic decision-making through data.Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives that guide business partners, shape strategies, and drive measurable outcomes.

Master Data Oversight 

Serve as an escalation point for all incoming customer master related queries and data issues originating due to data quality Perform root cause analysis and resolution as necessary Actively seek opportunity to improve Master Data processes and efficiency 

Cross-functional Partnership 

Escalate well defined reports to global analytics team for global rollout Act as voice of global analytics team within region and vice versa Coordinate testing, lead rollout and education for new analytics functionality with relevant stakeholders Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business need and requirements  Create and maintain user personas, use-cases, and business requirements documents Engage key stakeholders and business partners to implement lean process and procedures to adopt at operational level Work with people from a variety of nationalities and cultures across the Asia Pacific commercial team.  

Leadership 

Manage the team workload, performance, risk mitigation, staffing and training to make sure there is appropriate support to maintain service level expectations.

Position Requirements:

Strong interpersonal skills and proven experience in building successful partnerships with business and technical groups. Outstanding communication skills and ability to convey complex ideas in a simple to understand manner, with demonstrated abilities in data storytelling.  Demonstrated ability to understand new datasets and data structures and synthesize data into actional information. Working proficiency with complex data from multiple data sources and building dashboards. Knowledge of relational and dimensional database structures, theories, principles, and practice. Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.  Ability to creatively take on new challenges and work outside their comfort zone. Highly self-motivated to deliver both independently and with strong team collaboration in complex cross-functional teams.  Excellent organization and time management skills. Demonstrated capability to use sound project management methods in managing development backlog. Ability to work under pressure to targets or deadlines. Excellent attention to detail, working to a high level of accuracy.

Preferred Experience/Education/Skills:

Minimum of 5+ years of progressive hands-on experience in business intelligence, reporting, and analytics through continuous, focused experience in the build, customizing and publishing of Tableau interactive reports, visualizations, dashboards and stories. Bachelor’s Degree desired in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business or related field. Previous experience within a client or customer facing role (e.g. sales, sales operations, customer service or commercial support) is preferred. Experience in supporting Operations and/or Sales functional reporting a plus. Strong experience with Tableau (Tableau Desktop required, Tableau Server a plus). Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms a plus.Intermediate knowledge of SQL. Knowledge of Python and R a plus. Proficiency in Snowflake and a solid understanding of core data engineering principles, including data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data pipeline orchestration.Experience in advanced techniques in predictive modelling including machine learning a plus.   Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook and possess an innate ability to navigate through new software applications.
