The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an experienced Sr. Cloudera Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with the Cloudera Hadoop ecosystem and developing scalable data solutions. This role requires a strong background in big data technologies, security, and distributed computing environments.


Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data using Cloudera Hadoop ecosystem toolsImplement and maintain data processing solutions using HDFS, Hive, Impala, Spark, and HBaseEnsure data security and compliance using Cloudera security components such as Ranger and KerberosDevelop and optimize code in Python, Java, or Scala for distributed computing environmentsIntegrate Cloudera solutions within government data lake or analytic environmentsWork with data ingestion tools like NiFi, Sqoop, or Kafka to streamline data flowsCollaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile or SAFe environmentSupport STIG compliance and adhere to DoD security standardsTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Cloudera implementationsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members




Qualifications:

Required: 

Must hold CompTIA Security+ (CE) certification5+ years of experience working with Cloudera Hadoop ecosystem (CDH/CDP)Strong experience developing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for various data typesDeep understanding of Cloudera security components: Ranger, Kerberos, and data maskingFamiliarity with integrating Cloudera in government data lake or analytic environmentsProficiency in Python, Java, or Scala programming in distributed computing environmentsKnowledge of data ingestion tools like NiFi, Sqoop, or KafkaExperience working within Agile or SAFe teamsAbility to support STIG compliance and DoD security standardsExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret ClearanceMust be willing to work on site in Norco, CA

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$90,300 - 189,600 USD
