Join Pega’s Cloud Network and Engineering Security team—a collaborative group of security professionals dedicated to designing, building, and maintaining a secure cloud environment. We work across Agile product teams and partner with engineering, compliance, and operations to drive the adoption of secure practices and technologies. Our mission is to proactively identify risks, implement robust security controls, and continuously improve our cloud security posture through innovation and collaboration.

What You'll Do at Pega: Design, develop, and support secure cloud solutions across a full stack of development tools and technologies.Lead and contribute to security assessments of cloud architectures and services.Collaborate with engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities and implement best practices.Participate in audits and support client inquiries related to cloud security.Mentor team members and promote security awareness across the organization.Stay current on emerging threats, technologies, and regulatory requirements.Contribute to the development of security policies, procedures, and training programs.Who You Are:

What You've Accomplished: 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on cloud security (AWS, GCP, Azure).Proven experience conducting security risk assessments and identifying cloud vulnerabilities.Familiarity with offensive security practices such as penetration testing or red teaming is a plus.Experience supporting compliance initiatives (e.g., SOC2, PCI, FedRAMP).Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards (e.g., OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK).Demonstrated ability to influence security roadmaps and guide cross-functional teams.Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and tooling.Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.Some experience with SIEM and security threat detection tools preferred (i.e., Splunk Google Chronicle (SecOps), Trend, CrowdStrike.)Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; industry certifications (e.g., CISSP) preferred.Pega Offers You: Gartner Analyst acclaimed technology leadership across our categories of productsContinuous learning and development opportunitiesAn innovative, inclusive, agile, flexible, and fun work environmentCompetitive global benefits program inclusive of pay + bonus incentive, employee equity in the company #LI-KH2 Job ID: 22213
