We’re searching for a full-time Chicago or Lehi, UT based Sr. Cloud Engineer to join our development team, so that we can ensure the smooth operation of all user-facing services and production systems within RLDatix. The Sr. Cloud Engineer will work collaboratively with the R&D teams to build, test, deploy and monitor our software while implementing leading practices to enhance availability, reliability, and scalability. Because this is a hybrid position, only local candidates to Chicago or Lehi, UT will be considered. How You’ll Spend Your Time + Design, build, and maintain core infrastructure that enables RLDatix scaling to support hundreds of thousands of concurrent users. + Be on an on-call (PagerDuty) rotation to respond to incidents that impact RLDatix’s availability and provide support for service engineers with customer incidents. + Build monitoring that alerts on symptoms rather than on outages. + Document every action so your findings turn into repeatable actions and then into automation. + Improve operational processes (such as deployments and upgrades) to make them as efficient as possible. What Kind of Things We’re Most Interested in You Having + 7+ years of working experience in a Cloud Engineering role working with AWS, Azure, or GCP + Proven success adapting to business changes, including new requirements, evolving goals and strategies, and learning emerging technologies + In-depth knowledge and significant hands-on working experience with Kubernetes and Terraform + Ability to commute to Chicago or Lehi, UT office 50% of the month + A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous learning and problem solving + A knack for working flexibly and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment By enabling flexibility in how we work and prioritizing employee wellness, we empower our team to do and be their best.
