AMD together we advance_ The Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Architect to join our newly formed team driving the integration of AI technologies into Vivado EDA design tools. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure powering AI-enhanced workflows, including GitHub Copilot Extensions and MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations. As a key member of the Vivado R&D organization, you will enable seamless AI-powered FPGA design workflows in a dynamic, cutting-edge environment. You communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and excel at working cross-functionally with diverse teams. Your ability to balance technical rigor with creative thinking makes you a key contributor to transformative projects. Responsibilities: Architect and design cloud infrastructure tailored for AI-powered Vivado tools. Develop and implement scalable MCP services and GitHub Copilot Extensions. Optimize cloud environments to support AI/ML workloads efficiently. Establish and enforce cloud security, governance, and compliance frameworks. Lead cost optimization strategies to improve cloud resource utilization. Preferred Skills and Experience : Proven experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Demonstrated success delivering cloud solutions that enhance compile time and runtime efficiency. Deep expertise in DevOps, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD pipelines. Hands-on experience deploying and scaling AI/ML workloads in cloud settings. Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards. Solid background in FPGA design methodologies and EDA tool development. Familiarity with current AI technologies relevant to hardware design workflows. Excellent collaboration skills, working effectively with cross-functional teams.
