Job Description & Summary
Working closely with experts from PwC’s global network, the climate change professional provide subject matter expertise around strategies, action plans, risk and opportunities related to climate change as well as measuring companies’ performance in addressing climate changes.
Responsibilities:
Advising clients on the development and implementing of Climate adaptation/mitigation strategies or solutions throughout the lifecycle of products and services
Development and execution of net zero strategies
Support clients in climate mitigation, adaptation, and climate resilience, including developing sector specific mitigation and adaptation objectives and measures, such as in a low carbon and climate resilient strategy or action plan
Support clients with assessment of carbon emission reduction potential and carbon footprints
Support the delivery of GHG inventorying services, including operational Scope 1+2 and value chain scope 3 inventories
Carry out gap analysis reviews/audits for environmental and sustainability related topics
Share your/our expertise as a contributing expert to global events and thought leadership efforts.
Qualifications:
Degree in sustainability, environmental sciences or related fields
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferably in one of the following areas: carbon footprint calculations/verification, net zero transition, sustainable supply chain management.
